My father would always buy me different checks to read. He would take me every week to the local bookstore. If I saw a book I liked and told him the reason why I wanted to read it he would purchase the book for me. The desire and passion for reading I develop at young age helped me later in life when I had to read a lot for school work. It also helped me become more trained at researching for information. My fathers guidance is the primary reason I became a good student as an adult. He taught me the importance learning had in life.
