Government, Democracy, Monarchy, Dictatorship, And Democracy

GOVERNMENT A Government consists of multiple people ruling and running a community. They make public policies and decisions that will benefit the community which they are governing. It’s the government’s job to protect the country by securing the boarders, making sure that the military and police are competent and providing them with tools so they could reach their highest standards, protecting their citizens against internal threats like violence, murder etc. by creating laws against them, creating laws and enforcing them, improving the country’s economy for example through trade and providing public transportation and schools. Furthermore, they are responsible for creating infrastructures like roads, bridges, houses etc. in order to help†¦show more content†¦There are also a lot of things that fall under ‘best government’. The best government is one that it’s people are represented, one that promotes equality (through rights), one that people are free to speak up and voice out their problems (through protests, rallies etc.) especially when the feel like they are being oppressed. 1. ANSWER Democracy is the best form of government because it offers people freedom. Freedom of speech, right to private property and Right to a fair trial with jury are just some of the rights and civil liberties that Democracy offers. In Democracy, leaders are not likely to use violence to harm their own people unlike other forms of governments like Dictatorship where the leader is free to do whatever he wants. 2. ARGUMENTS (1) For a government to be called the best government, it’s citizens need to be free to exercise their rights, one of which is the right to vote. (2) A leader is chosen in a democratic country by the people through a free and fair election, where the candidate with the majority of the votes wins and that way the people choose the most fit leader. Therefore, Democracy is the best government. For the first premise, there are a lot of things that fall under â€Å"best government† some of which I listed above, but the most important, at least to me, is the right to vote.
